Business Opportunities
In 2008, the MU Office of Service-Learning established a relationship with the Trulaske College of Business through which students are paired with non-profit organizations, giving them a chance to learn while serving their community. This provides students a look at another side of business, a side they may not have previously considered.

MU Serves MO
The MU Office of Service-Learning has been serving Missouri since 1995 and each year, the amount of service grows. In the past 10 years, more than 1,706,400 hours have been served by MU students, generating an economic impact of more than $37,115,000 to the state of Missouri.
Impactful Support
During her final semester at the University of Missouri, recent graduate Mallory Schoeppach followed her passion for service by supporting survivors of human trafficking. The experience helped her decide exactly what she wanted to do after graduation.

Learning by Serving
Matt Bourke is making a name for himself on the Mizzou campus. He has also extended his reach beyond campus, volunteering with the non-profit organization Worley Street Roundtable, where he is the marketing intern, meaning his new responsibility is to make a name for Worley Street Roundtable.
Talking with Legislators
The MU Office of Service-Learning hosted a Missouri Government Roundtable with a panel of six Missouri legislators—Sen. Caleb Rowden, Rep. Cheri Toalson Reisch, Rep. Kip Kendrick, Rep. Martha Stevens, Rep. Chuck Bayse and Rep. Sarah Walsh—to allow students to become civically engaged.
Passionate About Service
Through the MU Office of Service-Learning, Global Service students cross boarders and oceans to serve around the world. One of the service locations is in the community of Cape Coast, Ghana.
