Non-Profit Internships

The MU Office of Service Learning is dedicated to connecting qualified and high achieving students with internships in the non-profit sector. Students are able to work directly with those in need, earn credit while making a difference, and help community agencies carry out their mission. Students are matched based on their interests, skills, and professional goals with an agency.

The Civic Leaders Internship Program (CLIP): Non-Profit Organizations Internship provides students with the opportunity to serve in a hands-on environment assisting abused and neglected children, the elderly, the homeless, refugees and at-risk youth in and around Columbia, MO. Students develop professional skills: fundraising, event-planning, marketing, communication, social media, case management support, volunteer coordination, public awareness campaigns, non-profit administration, etc.
