The CLIP: Congressional Scholars Program, working in partnership with the UM System President’s Office and the Office of the Chancellor, recruits and sponsors students interested in leadership and public service internships with the Missouri Congressional delegation. Students from all academic majors and backgrounds are welcome. For the last three years students from degree programs campus-wide—English, Journalism, Agriculture, Political Science and Business—have worked with our Missouri Congressional delegation while earning academic credit and advancing towards graduation. The Office of Service-Learning offers scholarships to support student travel and additional expenses incurred when students move to and live in Washington, D.C.
Interning in Washington D.C. is truly a life-changing professional experience. MU students will interact with our nation’s leaders while shaping their future professional profile. Students will be immersed in the history and prestige of our nation’s capital. Most importantly, students will represent MU with our Missouri state delegation.
