CLIP: Non-Profit Organizations Internship

The MU Office of Service-Learning Non-Profit Internship Program is the only campus-wide program dedicated to connecting qualified and high achieving students with internships in the public and non-profit sector. Our unique position provides access to students with a wide range of majors, skills, and backgrounds who are passionate about assisting local community organizations in need of assistance and support. Service-based internships enable students to service those in need by utilizing your skills and strengths to help organizations carry out their mission.

Because students are enrolled in coursework related to their internship experience, their academic performance is tied directly to their internship performance. Students are regularly evaluated by their supervisors to ensure they are meeting the expectations set before them. Our program structure means students are actively engaged in coursework that strengthens critical thinking, accountability, and professional skill set.

Any eligible undergraduate student is invited to apply for an internship for upcoming semesters. To be eligible for our program, students must have: sophomore standing or higher; demonstrated interest in service; 2.5 GPA or higher; and willingness to commit to at least 120 hours per semester to an internship experience.
