The Honors College Community Involvement Program offers a literacy project for MU students interested in promoting school success for low income and at-risk school children in the Columbia community. Students participating in the program have served at service sites such as Rock Bridge Elementary School, Hickman High School (working with Special Education students), and Smithton Middle School (working with students in the English-as-a-Second-Language program).
