| Each year, more than 3,000 MU students
serve over 120,000 hours with Columbia community agencies
while earning academic credit.
Service-Learning students are involved in projects such as: mentoring and tutoring young people, visiting and assisting the elderly, working at animal shelters, designing websites for community agencies, and many, many other activities that are invaluable to the citizens of Columbia.
If you are an MU
student who is interested in taking a service-learning
class, a faculty member who would
like to combine community service with your coursework,
or a community partner who could
use help from some of MU's best students, please read more
about how you can get involved with Service-Learning.
